Judging system:

Categories for Drama, Comedy, and Absurdity were each graded on a rubric of 1-5 for each story, with 5 being "Most Prevalent" and 1 being "Lacking." Judges then picked their top 3 favorite stories and ranked them on a rubric of 1-3, with 3 being "1st Choice", 2 being "2nd Choice," and 1 being "Last Choice." Scores were then totaled upon review across seven (7) judges. As the rules state, authors were classified as Anonymous during the Judging Phase.

Create a short story using at least one Pet Ability in every sentence.

For example: "Johnny felt frustrated with the mushy tundra, since all he could make was a ."

Another example is ", Susan decided it was to resign to the bench."

Each Pet Ability may be used only once per entry.

No more than twenty (20) sentences per entry.

Only one entry per participant, please!

Scoring will be based on originality, creativity, and appeal. Authors' names will not be disclosed to a random panel of judges, which will include some members from the Petnome Team and others from the community. Winners cannot win in more than one category.
